Standalone Vacuum Pump Units for Transformer Evacuation
Vacuum pumps are typically used for the drying out of oil filled transformers during installation and maintenance. Moisture readily boils at ambient temperature under vacuum and the resulting water vapour is evacuated by the vacuum pump system to dry the transformer and windings.
Transformer Filtration Systems offer a range of high performance standalone vacuum pump units for transformer evacuation with nominal capacities ranging from 500, to 2,500m3/h.
These units are supplied as fully assembled, wired and tested systems built in our own workshop using only the highest quality components to ensure trouble free operation and a long service life.
Please note this is an additional vacuum pump system dedicated only for transformer evacuation and not required for the dehydration of the filter plant, and to clarify our MG6000 can have an extra optional vacuum pump system integrated within the plant where the MG3000 simply does not have the space to install extra pumps.
The SVP units pictured below have a high performance standalone vacuum pump with nominal capacity of 500m3/h.
